Most of my professional social media experience comes from my 2 years at Monster.
Below are some examples of some big looks I helped create using various mid to high level brand ambassadors.
AraabMuzik Facebook Takeover :
During the launch of this hot new product, I engaged Araabmuzik to help get the word out by taking over his facebook page for 2 weeks. He also hooked up a few instagram posts and tweets in conjunction with the release of the video I produced with him. (See his tab above.)
Air Dubai made this video for Monster after they approached me for a sponsorship and I challenged them with the task. I work with them from time to time on social media pushes, and make sure to catch them whenever they’re in town!
3LAU is a hot young DJ out of Las Vegas who has residencies at the hottest clubs and is frequently joined by close friends Tiesto, Krewella and more. At various milestones in his career, we teamed up on giveaways and more to get some of his hundreds of thousands of fans’ eyes on Monster. Here’s one example we ran in tandem with Beatport.
Hook’n’Sling is another up and coming, hot DJ. We teamed up on milestone giveaways, as well as a product placement in his music video for Magnet, released by Spinnin Records garnering over 400,000 views.
DJ Kittie is a very ambitious and enthusiastic up and coming DJ out of Las Vegas. I sent her a pair of Diamond Tears headphones and watched her go. We got tons of social love from her, and she continues to kill it in the club with Monster.
Dirty Ghosts are a kick ass band out of San Francisco. Working with them on Monster’s Tuxedo DNA promotion directed their fans eyes towards Monster, further expanding the demographic that might buy Monster products.
Animals As Leaders are big fans of Monster. I worked with them from time to time on social media posts that they shared with their 350,000 fans.
I worked closely with Kyng on a full circle social media campaign that included an instagram video series throughout the duration of their tour, a Monster branded backdrop that was hoisted up behind them at every show, regular facebook posts and tweets, and more.
I met Ahmir, YouTube’s #1 R&B band, at DigiFest NYC, a one day music fest featuring 100% YouTube talent, from personalities, to musicians, to dancers. They represented Monster regularly, hosting giveaways live during online video performances and chats with their fans, posting across their social channels, and being kick-ass wearing their Monster headphones everywhere they went.
UFC was one of my assignments at the end of my time at Monster. I worked with UFC to team up with specific fighters surrounding major fights on promoting the Monster Octagon headphone. This included everything from creating assets to use across social channels, banners to send to arenas and UFC kiosks and executing social plans in tandem with UFC. Below is an example of a typical asset that would be created for each fight.
